I had high hopes for my stay at Sonder The Beverley, especially considering its trendy location and boutique appeal. However, the experience fell short. The room was incredibly small, with no window, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. I dealt with noise from works outside and the slow elevator, which added to my frustrations. I think this place might suit younger travelers, but it wasn't ideal for me.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were tiny, lacking natural light, and mine had cleanliness issues with poorly maintained facilities. I struggled with the layout and overall comfort during my stay.
Service
5.0
The service was also lacking, as there were limited staff available and my requests often took a while to be addressed. They were friendly, but I expected more from a boutique hotel.
Location
9.0
On the brighter side, the location is fantastic. It's right in the heart of downtown near shops and eateries, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining
7.0
The dining options, particularly the bar and restaurant downstairs, were quite good. I enjoyed the meals there, which did elevate my overall experience.
Facilities
5.0
Unfortunately, the facilities seemed to be an afterthought. I didn't find much beyond the bar and restaurant, and room maintenance was subpar.

6.8/10

My recent stay at Sonder The Beverley was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, right on Queen Street West, close to so many restaurants and just a short walk to Rogers Stadium. However, I found the room a bit cramped, and while it was clean, the building felt quite old and narrow. The self-check-in process was convenient, but the absence of staff made it feel less personal.

Rooms
6.0
The room was small and had an old feel, but was cleaned well enough. While I appreciated the mini fridge and Roku TV, those with mobility issues might struggle with the stairs.
Service
7.0
Communication through the Sonder app was efficient, but I missed having staff available for immediate concerns. My early check-in request was denied, and I had to manage everything via the app.
Location
9.0
The location is a highlight, positioned perfectly in a trendy area with plenty to explore just steps away, including shops and dining options.
Dining
6.0
I didn't dine at the restaurant but noticed it was popular and seemed like a nice option to have on site for guests.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were basic but met my needs. The availability of supplies through the app was handy, and I appreciated the coffee maker in the room.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. On one hand, the location was excellent, placing me close to everything I needed. However, the rooms were incredibly small and not very clean, which was quite disappointing overall.

Rooms
5.0
The room was extremely tiny and windowless, making it nearly impossible for me to fit even one suitcase comfortably. The cleanliness left much to be desired, with spotted sheets and grime that made my stay uncomfortable.
Service
5.0
While the staff were friendly and responsive, I was disappointed that they weren't able to address the cleanliness issues promptly. I felt a more proactive approach would have made my experience better.
Location
8.0
The location is the one bright spot. It was right in the heart of everything in Toronto—restaurants, shopping, and public transit were all easily accessible, making it a great base for exploring the city.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited and a bit odd, with very few savory choices. I found the breakfast to be quite lacking in variety, although some pastries were fresh.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has a bar and shop at the reception, but as a boutique hotel, I didn't find the facilities particularly impressive or well-integrated.

5.4/10

My stay at Sonder The Beverley had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore downtown Toronto, but the room left much to be desired, particularly with its size and lack of windows. The service was friendly, though I encountered a few hiccups that affected my overall experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room was very small, and the absence of a window made it feel even more claustrophobic (not great for a 3-night stay). However, it was clean and had a nice smartTV, which helped me unwind in the evenings.
Service
6.0
While the staff were friendly and responsive to requests, I experienced some issues with accessing my room initially, which was frustrating. I had to wait outside for a bit before receiving help.
Location
8.0
The hotel was perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Toronto. It was just a short walk to the CN Tower and surrounded by lots of great dining options (which I really appreciated).
Dining
5.0
One downside was the lack of breakfast options. I expected more than just some granola and pastries (definitely felt limited).
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were decent, but I had an issue with the air conditioning being quite loud. The absence of a window meant I had to rely heavily on it for fresh air.

I had a mixed experience staying at Sonder The Beverley. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of everything I wanted to explore. however, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. Additionally, the lack of an elevator and the overall room size might not suit everyone, especially couples with larger luggage. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and would consider staying again.

Rooms
7.0
The room was quite compact but had everything I needed. It was a bit small for two people, and I did notice some cleanliness issues like hair in the bathroom and a less pleasant smell at first. However, the bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the air conditioning.
Service
8.0
Service was friendly and helpful, although the communication about check-out time was a bit confusing. I had a great interaction with the staff upon arrival and throughout my stay, but the cleaning staff did wake me up a bit early.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is very nice. it's right in the middle of everything, within walking distance to many attractions, bars, and restaurants. Perfect for exploring the city!

The absence of an elevator was challenging, especially coming from the fourth floor with heavy luggage. However, I appreciated that the hotel had a unique boutique vibe.
